Vintage Wall Paper Hat Box Table Lamp Pastoral Grandma Moses Folk Art HP Blue

Done in the style of antique wall paper hat boxes, however made with wood, not paper. Colors are a peaceful blue, soft green, brown, black, brick red. Nice spatter ware paint technique in some areas. Beautiful rustic landscape reminiscent of Grandma Moses, a very pastoral country scene.

Hand painted with cows, horses a mill house, an elegant country house, grass and trees. Measures approximately 25" t o the top of the lamp with harp, 12" from base to top of oval box. Base is 10" wide x 7.5" deep.

Sits on a black wood base which is a bit larger- 9" x 13.5". From the estate of an antiques dealer from Baltimore, Maryland. Looks gorgeous with a blue and white checkered shade! Riveted togther like a Shaker box. Item is in excellent vintage condition.
