I have a vintage HP 48SX Scientific Expandable calculator. It was made in Singapore and released in the year 1989. It takes 3 triple A batteries to work. I installed 3 brand new AAA batteries (Included in this listing) and verified there was no rust or corrosion in the battery compartment.
When I press the ON button, it DOES turn on and appears to work just fine. Physically this Hewlett Packard calculator has some wear and tear from usage and it was in storage for a good amount of time. This includes some scratches and markings. There is also a noticeable scratch on the display screen.
But functionality wise, it looks to work just fine. All the buttons are there and they do work as they should. It has the original battery cover and the cover located on the top of the calculator, as seen in the photos provided. This appears to be the only calculator that ended up working that I took out of storage in my collection. This also comes with the HP branded storage zip up case, as seen in the photos provided.
