Vintage Hewlett-Packard HP38C Business Programable Calculator with carrying case
No signs of battery leakage. Built from 1979 to 1983. There is crack on the back plastic as the battery cover also have a crack and it's loose due that. The metal guide for the batteries is also missing.
I've used one from other unit to turn it on. For sure not difficult to find a new one or not needed if you use a new battery pack.
