Early Side valve SV Pioneer Veteran Motorcycle Cylinder barrel and head 73mm 2.75hp 350cc 1903 to 1910. After many hours of searching through images of early 20th Century Pioneer motorcycles, I have concluded that I have no idea which antique motorcycle this cylinder barrel and head belongs to. I'd appreciate it if you let me know. If it is a 350cc, it would have started out at 71mm.
This one is closer to 73mm. The fins are nice but with some small chips. The bore will need cleaning up. As I'm sure you are aware, Blackburne was one of the largest suppliers of engines in the Pioneer / Veteran and Vintage days. It has the look of a later mid-twenties AJS but I had one of those and the design is quite different. You will also know how difficult it is to find in this condition. On the subject of condition, it looks like the little primer hole has been brazed up. Have a look at the picture of inside the head.
It is at PE28, near St Ives in Cambridgeshire. If you don't see a price, please ask. If you can't collect for a while, it's not a problem.
However, I will need to be paid very soon after the sale. This item is in the category "Vehicle Parts & Accessories\Motorcycle & Scooter Parts & Accessories\Engines & Engine Parts\Cylinder Heads". The seller is "daosb27" and is located in this country: GB. This item can be shipped worldwide.
