Alpina A40 Vintage Professional Italian Top & Rear Handle. 40cc Beautiful Vintage Petrol Chainsaw with a Genuine Vintage Oregon 15" Roller Nose Guide Bar & Semi-Chisel 0.325" Chain in good condition. Made from circa: 1980 Up to 40 years old and still an absolute joy to use and own. In my opinion this saw is in very good condition for it's age - both cosmetically & mechanically.

These are special saws & almost impossible to find in this original condition. Try & find another A40 in this working condition.

PLEASE REMEMBER MY SAWS ARE STORED CORRECTLY AND ONLY EVER RUN ON THE BEST OILS. I WILL NOT HIDE ANY ISSUES IF I KNOW ABOUT THEM. A current Stihl equivalent 35cc Top Handle saw like an MS201 would cost you approx. These saws are very unusal as the are both a conventional saw and a top handle saw as they have 2 different throttle positions - front & back! A true professional saw in it's day fitted with double felling spikes and AV mounts - all tight and in good condition. The saw is undamaged other than marks from normal usage.

It may have other damage but it is not apparent to me. Any body genuinely interested is very welcome to come and view the saw.
